today was my first "day" as assistant teacher german. I was late, because of the train...oooh, how I love the dutch trains. In Switzerland, you do not show up late for work, especially not on you first day. So I was freaking out (only a little bit, but still). Welcome to cultural differences, my being late was no problem for anyone, except for me...
They showed me around, introduced me to a lot of people, I talked to some of them, was mostly overwhelmed, and after an hour, I was done for today. Tomorrow will be my second day...we will see, maybe I 'll be there for 2 hours?
